Tyrolean quality in Munich: Pfeifer presents itself to the international audience at the construction fair

Not just with the traditional Tyrolean evening, the Pfeifer group attracted the attention of the audience at the fair of this year, which took place from the 16th to the 21st of January in Munich. In particular, the reliability and high flexibility of the family company from Imst are well appreciated by the many international partner and customers.

WOOD IN TREND

„We expect also this year a positive development again“, declares Michael Pfeifer, CEO of the Pfeifer Holding, on the edge of a six days construction fair last Thursday in Munich. “The request of wood is high. For example, many refugee accommodations are meanwhile at the moment built in wood and also in the biofuel field pellets play a more and more important alternative role to oil and gas – we benefit from this in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.“

EUROPA IN FOCUS

“Our main focus in sales in 2017 will be in Europe”, says Michael Pfeifer regarding the strategic orientation for the future. The aim it to strengthen business on main markets like Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France and Spain and to expand growing wood construction and biofuel sector. “Our main partner in this regard is the wood and biofuel trade. Also therefore fairs like this one are so important.”

250.000 FAIR VISITORS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD

Among the twelve fairs, in which Pfeifer is represented every year, the construction fair in Munich plays a special role. Every two years, international leading businesses from various sectors of the construction field show themselves. The trade fair records about 250.000 visitors from all over the world, among them architects, planners, investors, tradesmen and representatives of trade and industry.

MUSIC AND CUISINE FROM TIROL

One of the highlights of the fair is the Tyrolean Night also this year. Local specialities and live music of the “Never ending Four” from Imst attracted about 300 exhibitors and partners at the Pfeifer stand for a pleasant closure of the fair day.
