Product Declarations
Sustainability is not only part of our corporate strategy, it is a significant aspect of our production processes. This is why we compile Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for our product portfolio of cross-laminated timber (CLT) and glulam.
These declarations provide our customers with valuable insights into the environmental impact of our products across their entire lifecycle, from raw material sourcing to disposal or recycling.
EPDs offer our customers and other stakeholders a transparent and reliable basis for assessing the ecological properties of our products. They include a detailed breakdown of relevant environmental metrics, such as CO2 footprint, water usage and energy consumption, while supporting well-informed decision-making.
By introducing EPDs, we aim to enhance transparency regarding the environmental impact of our products while underscoring our commitment to sustainable production and sourcing practices. Their compilation adheres to recognised international standards and is independently verified by a third party to guarantee data quality and traceability.
In doing so, we aim to provide a dependable base of information for our stakeholders – particularly our customers – while driving improvements in our own sustainability processes.
