Invitation to our online panel discussion: “What will 2022 bring? Opportunities, risks, outlooks”

An eventful year is drawing to a close. A year that has brought changes of historic magnitude to our industry.

Michael Pfeifer

CEO of the PFEIFER GROUP

A run on wood that started in the fall of 2020 led to a market situation that even long-time industry insiders had never experienced before at the beginning of 2021.

Ongoing price increases for wood products, combined with low availability, led to even more demand from buyers. In the end, however, more was ordered than consumed, and this was followed towards the middle of the year by a slump in demand for sawn timber and processed products. Global price developments, such as high lumber prices in the USA, also had an impact on the Central European market.

So what’s next? What trends will we see in 2022? What can we expect in terms of raw materials, markets, sales and logistics? Together with you we would like to shine light on these topics in the form of a public online panel discussion.

During the next Pfeifer Talk Special which you can take part in comfortably from your PC or smartphone, you will hear what estimates and forecasts our experts have in store for 2022.
