Pellets

Compact energy from pure wood.

Pellets are on the rise worldwide as a highly efficient biofuel. Industrial plants, power stations, municipal heating plants, commercial operations and private households use the great potential of these small biomass pellets. As a pellet pioneer, Pfeifer fuelled this trend back in the late 1990s with the first pelletising plant in Kundl. Today Pfeifer produces around 620,000 tonnes of pellets per year at six sites. Decades of experience and know-how support high pellet quality for private and commercial consumers.

Pfeifer is one of the top 3 producers of pellets in Europe.
